Privacy Policy

SpeakerLab — Effective September 7, 2026

The short version

SpeakerLab collects no data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and makes no network connections. Everything you do in SpeakerLab stays on your Mac.

The app

Your documents. SpeakerLab project files, driver parameters, measurements you import and anything you export are stored only where you save them — on your Mac or in locations you choose (such as your own iCloud Drive). They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

No collection. The app contains no analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising frameworks. It does not read data from other apps and runs in the macOS App Sandbox, which restricts it to files you explicitly open or save.

No network access. SpeakerLab works entirely offline. The only exceptions are links you click yourself (such as the Help menu or the links in the About window), which simply open your browser.

Purchases. If you obtain SpeakerLab through the Mac App Store, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated sales statistics; we never receive your name, address or payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the App Store: apple.com/legal/privacy.

This website

speakerlab.app is a static informational site. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party embeds. Like virtually all websites, the server that hosts it may keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and operation; these are not used to identify visitors and are deleted routinely.

Support email

If you write to support@speakerlab.app, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use them solely to answer you. Support correspondence is deleted once the matter is resolved, kept only as long as legally required.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. For anything relating to support correspondence, or any privacy question, contact us and we will resolve it promptly. If you are in the EU/EEA you additionally have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Changes

If a future version of SpeakerLab ever changes any of the above — for example by adding optional crash reporting — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be clearly noted here.
